Pointe-Claire has scheduled soil-boring work at three locations during the week of November 2, with crews expected on site between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The work will take place in grassy areas at the corner of Maywood and Duke-of-Kent avenues, Newton Square Park and Seigniory Park. The city describes the work as geotechnical drilling used to collect information about soil conditions.

No traffic obstruction is expected. Residents near the locations may nonetheless see drilling equipment and workers during the daytime.
