RDP–PAT opens walking link between two parks, with 75 trees

A new stone-dust path now links two Rivière-des-Prairies parks; benches are expected to be added in spring 2027.

A new pedestrian connection is open between the dog area in Parc des Botanistes and Parc Jean-Jacques-Rousseau in Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles. The borough says the stone-dust path is intended to make it easier to move between the two green spaces on foot.

Landscaping along the route includes 75 trees, along with shrubs and perennials. Benches are scheduled to be added in spring 2027.

The link ties together two recent projects: the dog run completed in 2025 and the redevelopment of Parc Jean-Jacques-Rousseau completed in 2026.
