Redevelopment work at Parc Simone-Dénéchaud-Gouin in Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles is complete, according to the borough.

The project rebuilt the park staircase, levelled the trail, installed lighting and added two benches. The city says nearly 500 trees have been planted or are to be planted as part of the work.

The improvements are also intended to make the park’s river views easier to enjoy.
