Drivers in Pointe-Claire should plan for two overnight closures of Highway 40 West near Saint-Jean Boulevard as crews complete finishing work connected to the Réseau express métropolitain.

The REM work notice schedules a full westbound closure from 11 p.m. Thursday, November 5, to 5 a.m. Friday, November 6, and again from 11 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday. Traffic will be directed to the service road using exit 52. The westbound St-Régis Boulevard exit ramp, before Sources Boulevard, is also scheduled to close during the work.

The schedule can change because of weather or worksite conditions. The notice says residents near the site may hear noise and vehicle warning signals during the overnight work.
