The Canada Border Services Agency will change hours at four Alberta and 13 Manitoba land ports of entry beginning at 2 a.m. on November 1.
The temporary schedules will remain in place through March 14, 2027. CBSA says the adjustment is needed because Canada’s year-round daylight time no longer lines up with the United States’ seasonal clock change.
In Alberta, traveller-processing hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Aden and Del Bonita, 8 a.m. to midnight at Carway, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Wild Horse. Commercial hours differ at some locations and remain limited to weekdays.
Thirteen Manitoba crossings are also affected. Because the precise schedule varies by location and type of traffic, travellers and carriers should check the CBSA directory or the agency’s two October 9 notices before departure.
