The federal government is allocating $19.2 million in 2026–27 to sport integrity, anti-doping and efforts to prevent competition manipulation.

Canadian Heritage says $7.1 million will go to safe-sport measures. That includes $5 million for Sport Integrity Canada’s Canadian Safe Sport Program and $1.94 million for the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada, including an additional $440,000.

Another $11.75 million is earmarked for anti-doping work. The department lists $7.2 million for the national anti-doping program, $4.5 million for equipment at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique and $50,000 for a program review.

Almost $400,000 will support work against competition manipulation. The government says the allocation forms part of a wider $1-billion investment in the Canadian sport system, but the October 7 release focuses on the 2026–27 integrity measures.
