Québec’s transport ministry says the bridge and northbound Highway 15 between the bridge and Atwater Avenue will close from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 26 and 27. The bridge’s multi-use path will also be unavailable during those hours.
The posted detour sends motorists east on Route 132 to the Victoria or Jacques-Cartier bridges. Several approaches in Brossard will close as well, including the Highway 15 north/Route 132 east access toward Highway 10 and the bridge from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
West Island residents travelling through downtown or toward the South Shore should allow extra time. The ministry says schedules may change because of operational needs or weather and recommends checking Québec 511 before leaving.
