Highway 40 westbound closes overnight in Senneville

Highway 40 westbound will close near Senneville overnight from Thursday, September 24, to Friday, September 25, for pavement marking.

The City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue said the complete closure will run from 10:30 p.m. Thursday to 5:30 a.m. Friday between Exit 41, for Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants and Île-Perrot, and the next entrance.

Westbound traffic will be diverted onto the service road. The Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge will remain open, an important distinction for travellers continuing toward Vaudreuil-Dorion and communities west of Montréal.

The work could be postponed because of bad weather or operational constraints. Drivers should follow temporary signs and check current road conditions before leaving.
