Highway 13 nightly closures at Highway 520 begin September 28

Drivers using the Highway 13 and Highway 520 interchange near Montréal–Trudeau airport should plan for nightly closures from September 28 through November 2, 2026.

Québec’s transport ministry said on September 23 that the closures are required for continued reconstruction of the Highway 520 overpass above Highway 13. Signed detours will be in place.

Closure hours

Southbound Highway 13 will close between Exit 3-O for Highway 520 west and the entrance from Highway 520 east. The closure generally starts at 10 p.m. on Sundays, 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 p.m. Saturdays; reopening is at 5 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends.

Northbound Highway 13 will close between Exit 3-E for Highway 520 east and the entrance from Highway 520 west. It starts at 10 p.m. Sundays and 11 p.m. on other nights, reopening at 5 a.m. Mondays, 5:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and 7 a.m. on weekends.

The pedestrian tunnel under Highway 520 at Rue de la Station is also closed. A shuttle is available around the clock, with stops marked by temporary signs. Work may be postponed or extended because of weather or operational constraints.
