Rehabilitation of the BMX track at the École secondaire de la Pointe-aux-Trembles park is scheduled to begin during the week of October 19, the borough announced October 16.

The project will renew the track surface, reconfigure some jumps and obstacles, and improve surface-water management.

After the work is completed, the track is expected to undergo certification aimed at reaching a regional competition standard. The borough did not provide a completion date or project cost in its announcement.

The site is in Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles, at the park associated with École secondaire de la Pointe-aux-Trembles.
