Work begins on new Baldwin Park pool, opening planned for 2028

Construction has begun on a new outdoor aquatic complex at Parc Baldwin in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, with the pool scheduled to open in spring 2028.

The project includes a 50-metre pool with swimming lanes and a beach-style entry, a wading pool measuring more than 20 metres, water-play features, shaded areas and a universally accessible bathhouse.

Separate work on playgrounds, a splash pad and sports areas in the southern and northern portions of the park is expected to be completed in summer 2027. The borough identified Limoges as the contractor for the pool project.
