The Halloween issue features three hand-carved characters and is available in a six-stamp booklet.
Canada Post has released a Halloween stamp issue featuring three hand-carved jack-o’-lantern characters: the Mummy, the Witch and the Monster.
The issue includes a booklet of six Permanent domestic-rate stamps and an Official First Day Cover. Designer Kristine Do created the set, with photography by Maya Visnyei, pumpkin carving by Zac Flavelle and prop styling by Catherine Doherty.
The cancellation mark is shaped like a jack-o’-lantern and comes from Smoky Lake, Alberta, which Canada Post describes as the Pumpkin Capital of Alberta. The stamps and collectibles went on sale online and at select postal outlets October 13.
