Plateau council awards nearly $4.2 million for Baldwin Park work

Le Plateau-Mont-Royal borough council has awarded nearly $4.2 million for redevelopment work at Baldwin Park, according to its summary of decisions from the September 8 meeting.

The borough describes the contract as a step toward renewed facilities at the major De Lorimier district park. Its public summary does not provide a construction calendar, so residents should consult later project notices for timing and access changes.

Council also approved $15,000 for Laurier school through the neighbourhood-schools stream of the youth fund. The borough says the money will support a shade sail, student gardening projects and scooter parking.
