Corrections policy

Accuracy continues after publication. When a material error is confirmed, the article should be corrected promptly and a visible note should explain the change.

A factual correction should identify what was wrong and what has been corrected. Routine spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a separate notice.

New developments should be labelled as updates. Publication and modification dates should reflect actual editorial activity, and an older story should not be presented as new simply to refresh its timestamp.

If the central premise of an article cannot be supported, the publisher should review whether it needs a prominent correction or withdrawal.
