Ottawa directs up to $1.9 million to four Yukon businesses

Ottawa is providing up to $1,903,869 to four Yukon businesses for projects designed to improve productivity or respond to tariff and trade disruptions.
The largest contribution is up to $1 million for Northern Vision Development to modernize financial, purchasing, inventory and reporting systems across 14 entities.
Four projects
Solvest is eligible for up to $264,585 to design and test a portable solar-and-battery system for Yukon placer mines after redirecting a planned U.S. expansion. Cobalt Construction is eligible for up to $389,285 for four 3D grade-control devices, while Ketza Construction could receive up to $249,999 for AI-assisted estimating and digital operations.
The contributions are delivered through the Regional Tariff Response Initiative. The figures are maximum commitments, not evidence that each project has already received or spent the full amount.
