A section of Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road in Pointe-Claire will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. Friday, October 30, to 6 a.m. Saturday, October 31, while crews lay the final asphalt.

The city says the closure will run between the Pointe-Claire Canoe Kayak Club and Lakeside Avenue. The road will be closed in both directions except to emergency vehicles, while sidewalks will remain open.

Parking at the canoe club, at 75 Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road, will remain available but limited. Stops for the STM’s 202 bus on Lakeview Avenue and Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road, between Saint-Jean Boulevard and the canoe club, will be temporarily suspended.

The work is weather-dependent and could be postponed. Pointe-Claire says schedule changes will be posted on electronic message boards; the operation cannot be shifted to October 31 because of Halloween activities.
