Nine Indigenous-led projects in Nova Scotia will receive more than $3.3 million in federal support across economic development, research, workforce and natural-resource initiatives.

The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency announcement, published October 21, 2026, says the projects span entrepreneurship, tourism, fisheries, defence, renewable energy and clean technology.

Funding is being provided through programs administered by ACOA, Indigenous Services Canada and Fisheries and Oceans Canada. The announcement groups several separate projects rather than describing a single province-wide program.

The government’s release provides the official funding account. Project outcomes will need to be assessed as the individual initiatives proceed.
