Three public Remembrance ceremonies are scheduled across the Montréal area on Sunday, November 8, ahead of Remembrance Day.

  • Montréal-East: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Montréal-East Cenotaph, 11370 Notre-Dame Street East. The event is organised by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 173.
  • Montréal West: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the cenotaph, 50 Westminster Avenue South. The procession is scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m. at Curzon Avenue and Westminster.
  • Verdun: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Verdun Cenotaph, 4555 Rue de Verdun. Veterans Affairs Canada says the ceremony includes a procession organised with Royal Canadian Legion Verdun Branch 4.

The federal commemorative-events calendar lists all three events for November 8, 2026. Individual listings provide the local times and locations for the Montréal West ceremony, Montréal-East ceremony and Verdun parade.
