Temporary water shutoff planned for parts of Lachine November 9 or 10

Some Lachine residents and businesses should prepare for a temporary water-service interruption on either Monday, November 9, or Tuesday, November 10.

Montréal says the work will affect addresses 3380 to 3981 on Rue Victoria and 510 on 36e Avenue. The interruption is expected sometime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and should last about 60 minutes.

Crews are scheduled to inspect the water main and perform valve maintenance. The city has not assigned a separate date to each affected address, so people in the area should be ready on both days and check Montréal’s alert page for changes.
