Seasonal service-hour changes took effect early Sunday at 26 Canada–United States land ports in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba.

The Canada Border Services Agency says the changes keep Canadian hours aligned with neighbouring U.S. ports after the three provinces adopted permanent time systems while the United States continued seasonal clock changes.

The adjustments cover nine British Columbia ports, four Alberta ports and 13 Manitoba ports. CBSA published the notices on October 9.

The new schedules began at 2 a.m. local time November 1. Most remain in effect until 2 a.m. March 14, 2027. The Alberta release lists the seasonal table through March 13, while its explanatory text says the adjustment runs until 2 a.m. March 14.

Hours vary by port and may differ for travellers and commercial traffic. Anyone driving west from Québec should consult the specific CBSA table before choosing a crossing; a nearby alternative may be required outside posted hours.
