Pointe-Claire residents have two opportunities this weekend to speak directly with municipal councillors at informal open houses.

On Saturday, October 3, District 3 councillor Kelly Thorstad-Cullen will meet residents from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Columba-by-the-Lake Presbyterian Church, 11 Rodney Avenue. On Sunday, October 4, District 7 councillor Eric Stork and District 8 councillor Mike Potvin will be at the Arthur-E.-Séguin Chalet, 365 Saint-Louis Avenue, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The City says no registration is required. The events use an open-house format, so residents may arrive and leave after speaking with their elected officials. Coffee and pastries will be served, and attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable mug.

Additional sessions are scheduled for October 17 and 18 in other Pointe-Claire districts. Residents who are unsure of their district can use the address-search tool linked from the City’s notice.
