Canadian airline revenue rises 3.4% in fourth quarter of 2025

Operating revenue at Canada’s 23 largest air carriers reached $9.0 billion in the fourth quarter of 2025, up 3.4% from the same period a year earlier.

Statistics Canada said passenger revenue accounted for $7.6 billion, while air cargo generated $684.2 million. The carriers transported 21.9 million passengers, a 0.4% year-over-year increase.

The figures describe the final quarter of 2025 and were released on September 22, 2026; they should not be read as a current-quarter snapshot.
