Drivers crossing Montréal this weekend should expect closures around the Highway 40–Saint-Michel interchange from Friday night, September 11, until Monday morning, September 14.

Québec’s transport ministry says the westbound Highway 40 exit 75 for Highway 19 north, boulevard Saint-Michel and avenue Papineau will close from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Westbound Highway 40 entrances from Pie-IX and Saint-Michel boulevards will close during the same period.

One lane of westbound boulevard Crémazie will close on some segments between 16th and 1st avenues from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Second Avenue will also be closed beneath Highway 40 from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

The ministry says the work involves concrete-slab repairs and warns that the schedule may change because of weather or operational constraints. Motorists can check Québec 511 before leaving.
