TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, one of the year’s premier events in the tech industry, returns to Moscone West in San Francisco from October 27 through October 29. Applications are now officially open for thought leaders, startup founders, venture capitalists, and technology experts interested in speaking at the event.
With an expected attendance surpassing 10,000 industry leaders, investors, and startup visionaries, the gathering serves as a pivotal occasion to guide crucial discussions and shape technological innovation.
Interested applicants have until May 16 to submit proposals in one of two distinct session formats:
Breakout Sessions: These structured conversations span 30 minutes and ideally consist of up to four participants, including the session moderator. Following the presentation, a 20-minute audience Q&A segment will offer direct interaction and engagement. Each breakout session accommodates around 100 attendees.
Roundtable Discussions: Designed for intimate dialogue and robust exchanges of insight, these sessions allow a single speaker to lead a dialogue for a smaller group—up to roughly 40 participants. No visual presentations or multimedia support will be provided, encouraging focused, interactive conversations.
All submissions will be rigorously assessed by TechCrunch’s editorial team, after which finalists will move on to the Audience Choice phase. In this stage, TechCrunch readers will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred topics and speakers, ultimately deciding who earns a spot on the Disrupt 2025 stage.
Organizers emphasize that speakers should offer clear, actionable insights, showcase authentic experiences, and possess a genuine willingness to contribute meaningfully to the broader technology community.
The application window closes May 16. Interested parties are encouraged to apply promptly for their chance to help lead influential industry conversations at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025.
