Google announced on Thursday the global rollout of its new Veo 3 video generation model, making it accessible to Gemini users in over 159 countries. This latest advancement, however, is exclusively available to users subscribed to Google’s AI Pro plan, with a daily limit of three generated videos per subscriber.
Initially unveiled by Google in May, the Veo 3 model allows users to produce short videos—up to eight seconds long—simply by inputting text prompts. Google’s representative, Josh Woodward, noted that the company is actively working towards introducing image-to-video generation capabilities into Gemini, further expanding the functionality of its generative AI platform.
