Shares of French real estate platform Entreparticuliers soared by more than 800% over the past week after the firm announced a strategic shift toward accumulating Ethereum. Following this development, the company’s valuation surged dramatically, reaching approximately €23.44 million (roughly $25.78 million) from its January market cap of about €1.23 million—a gain exceeding 1,800%.
According to a company-issued statement, Entreparticuliers initiated its Ethereum acquisition strategy with an initial investment tranche of €1 million, funded by its majority shareholder Stéphane Romanyszyn. Going forward, the firm intends to expand its Ethereum holdings and has indicated plans to introduce several financial instruments tailored for institutional and professional investors. However, the company emphasized it would avoid equity dilution instruments like equity lines in its quest for financing.
Further capital increases to support their ongoing Ethereum investment strategy are contingent upon shareholder approval at the company’s upcoming general assembly on June 18. At this meeting, shareholders will consider authorizing resolutions that could provide the company with up to €150 million in additional funding.
Entreparticuliers was founded in 2000 by Stéphane Romanyszyn and has been listed on the Euronext Growth market since 2007 as a platform that connects individuals directly for buying, selling, or renting real estate, removing the need for traditional intermediaries.
The recent refocusing of its strategy positions Entreparticuliers now as an Ethereum-centric financial firm, aiming to become a pioneer in digital finance, real estate tokenization, and asset management. According to its cryptocurrency-specific website, the company seeks to offer investors a simple and regulated way to gain exposure to Ethereum through a publicly traded stock listed on Euronext Growth. This transition involves using Ethereum not only to bolster company treasury reserves but also to explore staking services and build tokenization tools for assets like real estate and bonds.
